We offer a safe and fun environment so you won’t have to worry.

Day campers will enjoy the same accommodations and activities as our overnight campers.

Overnight Boarding

We are a small boarding facility that can offer that special time and care your pets deserve while you’re away.

Our climate controlled facility is equipped with sanitary epoxy flooring and an air purification system for the health of our campers and staff. We also have backup power so we stay comfortably during those crazy Texas storms.

All indoor kennels are 5’x5’ and each has free access to their own 5’x 8’ covered patio area equipped with K9-artificial Grass.

We have multiple fenced play areas one of which is enclosed for those rainy day activities.

If you’re boarding your dog with us we can also accommodate other family members such as cats, hamsters, rabbits and ferrets.

Please note that out of courtesy for the other campers, as well as our human neighbors, we are unable to accommodate pets that are excessively noisy, or show any aggression towards other dogs or humans.

About 2 Gals Critter Camp

The 2 Gals, Angela and daughter Izzy, along with other onsite family have started a small family-run boarding facility “2 Gals Critter Camp.” The facility is set up to house no more than 8 dogs so we can give them all the attention they deserve.

We do live on property so we’re always close and never have staffing issues even during inclement weather.

We have lived here in Farmersville since 1990. And have 3 fenced acres with large shade trees and multiple fenced play areas and runs.

It’s our goal to provide the best care possible while you’re away. We will really treat your pup like one of our own and ours are ridiculously spoiled.

We are an all-inclusive boarding facility and we never charge extra for Kong treats-playtime or belly rubs.

We provide long-term boarding but accept day boarding when we have space available.

We welcome special needs and elderly dogs and will gladly administer your dog’s medications at no extra charge (No injectables).

We are certified in Pet First Aid and CPR.

For everyone’s safety we do not offer a lot of group play unless they are part of the same family or you approve of group play and we’re confident the dogs are comparable.

Pricing & Policies

Pricing

Overnight dog boarding (all inclusive) $58.00 per night. Pick up by 11:00am the next day.

Day boarding $38.00 per day pickup before 6:30 pm.
This service is provided when we have available space.

If you’re boarding with us and have other critters we also have cat cabins for $35.00 per night.

Policies (Deposit & Cancellation)

2 Gals Critter Camp requires a 50% deposit to reserve your cabin. The remainder of your stay is due at check in. Deposits are nonrefundable for cancellations less than 8 days prior to the start of your reservation. We do not double book reservations; we reserve a space for each pet when the reservation is made. So when we have last minute cancellations we have an empty spot and loss of revenue. However we realized life happens. So If we can re-book the time slot from our waiting list or a new client we’ll gladly refund all or part of your deposit.

Vaccinations

Unfortunately we can not contact your vet requesting any medical information. We will need verification prior to check in. All adult dogs, vaccinations are to include: Rabies, DAPPv and Bordetella. We require the Bordetella every 6 months for boarding. Bordetella Vaccinations must be administered AT LEAST 14 days prior to the boarding reservation start date. Bordetella Vaccinations must be administered AT LEAST 72 hours prior to Day Boarding drop off. Puppies are required to have 3 rounds of puppy DHPP vaccinations before they can board at our facility. For felines vaccinations are to include: FeLV, FVRCP and Rabies and proof of negative FIV test. All guests must also be current Flea & Tick preventatives.

Checklist When Dropping Off

We provide stainless steel Food and Water Bowls Kong treats raised Kuranda beds and bedding. You provide the Food in individually sealed and labeled bags for every day of your stay +1 also include any special snacks. We do have top brand food for an extra charge if needed. Medications in original container or pill box organizer. You can include a special toy/blanket if it will make your camper feel more comfortable while away from home.

All drop off and pick ups are by appointment only. Monday – Saturday: 8:00 am – 11:00 am and 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm Closed Sunday Listed are the holidays we will be closed for any drop offs or pick ups.

How Drop-Off & Pick-Up Works

Because we’ll be tending to our guests we require all drop offs and pickups to be by appointment only during the designated times. That way we can be ready for your arrival or departure. Call or text upon arrival and we’ll open the perimeter gate. Pull on in and we’ll greet you in the front. For everyone’s safety please keep our guest on a non retractable leash when arriving. We’ll check you in or out and that’s it. You can rest assured they’re in good hands. Once they become a regular guest they’ll be scratching at the car door to get out, I promise.
